I don't think we focused on DPDK limitations. For sure, lots of people use LSO or other buffers with many s/g entries. But it also works pretty well more or less whatever you do as you are able to pass a single large packet then - so the per-packet overhead is general...

Hwo to disable the polling function of mac_srs
In crossbow, each mac_srs has a kernel thread called "mac_rx_srs_poll_ring" to poll the hardware and crossbow will wakeup this thread to poll packets from the hardware automatically. Does crossbow provide any method to disable the polling mechanism, for example disabling the this kernel thread? I did this and it appears to have fixed the issue. Also, the failed message strongly implies that the email was not delivered, since it happens on the delivery log line and there is not indication in the log that delivery succeeded. performance of pv drivers for windows
...nce was about 10MB/s reading and writing sequentially, and about 1-1.5MB/s for reading and writing randomly. The network speed was about 10-12MB/s, via a GigaBit line. The Xensource drivers made at least about 30MB/s reading and writing sequentially, but for reading and writing randomly, it was also only lousy 1.5MB/s. Via network, over the GigaBit line, with the xensource drivers, the speed was about 78 MB/s. The Windows system was a XP SP2. hdparm on the dom0 gives about 60MB/s. The network test was an ftp transfer, just downloading a 500MB file, without writing it to disk, writing to nu...

Does anyone have any idea what instance defragments the ip-packets and why and how we can force this instance not to do this? Thanks! ______________________________...

Checksumming problem in pv_ops dom0 kernel / netback
Hello, I seem to be having some troubles regarding the latest 2.6.31.6 and 2.6.32.9 Xen dom0 pv_ops trees. Our platform: -Xen 3.4.3-rc3 (also tried 3.4.2 on 2.6.31.6 pv_ops dom0) -2.6.32.9 pv_ops dom0 kernel, perhaps a week old checkout from xen/stable git (can provide changeset if requested). -100+ domU''s, all PV. Ever since we switched to a pv_ops dom0 kernel (we were using 2.6.26 xenkernel from Debian repo before, with Xen...

Samba46 Listen queue overflow in FreeBSD 11.1

The occurrence number could be more. kernel: sonewconn: pcb 0xfffff8018a4ba3c0: Listen queue overflow: 8 already in queue awaiting acceptance (1 occurrences) The load increases on the server by ~3 and more CPU is also used right after the first error. After more time has past we slowly see more queue errors, maybe a few every hour. After a few days the load reaches 20 and each CPU is running at 50%. It never goes above that. multiple 2 by 2 crosstabulations?
Hello, I have a dataframe (var_1, var_2, ..., var_n) and I would like to export summary statistics to Latex in the form of a table. I want specific summary statistics by crossing numerous variables 2x2 AT ONCE. In each cell I would like sometimes to have the median (Q1 - Q3), or frequency and proportion, etc. CrossTable, xtab, etc... do not allow for multiple 2 by 2 crosstabulation. The table

DTraceTools Update
Is there any work on keeping DTraceTools up to date with the latest snv builds. These scripts are pretty useful and help get a novice dtrace user like me doing useful work quickly. Specifically the tcp stack tools like tcptop and tcpsnoop don''t work with later OpenSolaris builds. Thanks, Gary -- This message posted from opensolaris.org

Bigdemo Menu Demo
Does anyone know how the wxMenu.rbw files was going to be competed? I believe we have the code now to finish it off but I don''t want to guess what the demo writer had in mind (though I think it''s obvious). Specifically, it''s the code that adds and removes menu items. I''ve made some progress on other fronts: o Test case for object tracking o Object
