Samba and NT4-sp5 problems ??
We were using Samba 2.0.2 and Windows NT4-sp3 quite happily.. however someone wants to use sp5 (get me a large caliber rifle, PLEASE!!), and during some testing we noticed what 'looks like' file corruption problems. Files do not seem to get written to the samba shares properly/completely... I say looks like, because copying the files manually seems to be fine, but when done within an app,

What version of Samba will work with an AIX version of Unix?

We currently scan images which are stored on our Unix system and ideally we would like our Windows Server to have access to these files. The software we use for our daily business is Unix based so the the scanned images have to be

The last version I was able to build on the system was 3.0.14a. 3.0.21c's configure completes with no errors, but the make immediately bombs with: # make Using FLAGS = -O -D_SAMBA_BUILD_ -I./popt

Samba ADS on AIX 6.1 TL04
Hi All I'm trying to intergrate samba server with ADS on AIX 6.1 TL04, for last one week, with idmap / winbind but no satisfactory results.
