ESX support
Just curious but how long has ESX support been in libvirt?
Also I noticed this error when accessing one of my windows vms:
error: internal error Expecting VMX entry 'scsi0.virtualDev' to be
'buslogic' or 'lsilogic' but found 'lsisas1068'
Not sure whether this is an enhancement, defect, or not supported at this time.
Thanks.

Fujitsu RX200 S3
...he RAID device is not found and no disks are available
for installation.
When I do this with RHEL5 Disk 1, the drivers load correctly and there
is no problem.
I went to the LSI Logic site to download the drivers directly from
there, but they apparently don't support RHEL5 as of yet for the LSISAS1068.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Camron

Centos 4.0 (Final) and Dell 1950 with SAS controller
...xr-xr-x 1 root root 3850 Dec 20 2005 fusion.mptctl
This seemed strange to me because CentOS 4.0 uses kernel 2.6.9-5.0.3.EL. So my question is could that be why the modules can not be found? If so what changes do I need to make to this driver disk to get working on CentOS 4.0?
The controller is LSISAS1068
Sorry for the long post and thanks for the help.

CentOS 5.5 does not recognise SAS drives with LSI 1068E Controller
...RAID SAS 3208 ELP
Does this mean its not the 1068E controller inside but something else?
Or CentOS misidentifies it?
So I assume the controller is not supported and I need a binary driver
for it. For 1068e it should be:
http://www.lsi.com/storage_home/products_home/standard_product_ics/sas_ics/lsisas1068e/index.html
and the driver I need is inside the file
mptlinux-4.26.00.00-1-rhel5.5.x86_64.dd.gz
But how do I go applying this driver during installation as the server
has no floppy drive?
And what happens if I get the driver installed and then the server's
kernel is updated? Do I need reinst...

[PATCH 0/2] v2v: -i vmx: Allow deviceType field to be completely omitted.
A colleague found some VMX files which omit the deviceType field.
This allows -i vmx mode to parse them.

Optimal strategy (add or replace disks) to build a cheap and raidz?
Hello,
i have an 8 port sata-controller and i don''t want to spend the money for 8 x 750 GB Sata Disks
right now. I''m thinking about an optimal way of building a growing raidz-pool without loosing
any data.
As far as i know there are two ways to achieve this:
- Adding 750 GB Disks from time to time. But this would lead to multiple groups with multiple
redundancy/parity disks. I
