Xorcom T1 to PRI
...ine away from an old dms-100 and to the new ISDN switch - the tech said he couldn't see anything at the line layer, though I showed no alarms. Regardless, something odd happened that I am hoping for some advice on. We reverted to the T1 and will try again next week. The odd bit is this - lsdahdi showed all 24 channels as "T1" instead of "PRI". The output of lsdahdi at another site where I had already done this conversion (which uses a Sangoma card) looks like this: root at astsouth:/etc/dahdi# lsdahdi ### Span 1: WPT1/0 "wanpipe1 card 0" (MASTER) ESF/B8ZS...

TDM2400 card FXS problems
We have a recently deployed server with a new TDM2400 card that will not put dialtone or audio on FXS ports after the physical server restarts (though they will ring if called, there's just no audio on the line if the phone at the other end picks up). The symptom can be resolved by stopping Asterisk, restarting DAHDI, and then restarting Asterisk. So far, this has happened on both times the

[UK SPECIFIC] DAHDI and a OpenVox Card
Hi, Built a new server at the weekend and install Asterisk 1.6.0.9 and IAX and SIP work great :) The one problem I am having is getting the OpenVox (TDM400 type card) to work. It is successfully identified using WCTDM kernel module and dahdi_scan picks it up just fine. The issue is when I try and setup dahdi_channel.conf as it fails everytime. When running asterisk -rvvvv I see the port pick

Xorcom Astribank One call and dies
Hello Mailinglist, we have a Xorcom Astribank which is installed at our client and working since 10/2008. Suddenly last week there where odd behaviors, no calls going through (it is used to route calls to GSM Gateways). Upon testing (reinitialization of the complete gear) it turned out that one call get's through and then nothing more. I have nothing in the logs, indicating that Asterisk

Astribank Configuration Issues
I have recently updated from Centos/*1.2 to Ubuntu Server and FreePBX 2.8.0.2. We have an Astribank with 4 T1 ports and 16 FXS ports. After updating, we had it working for a while with one NT PRI and one TE PRI and, in the process of trying to configure another PRI, I ran into a couple problems. (1) As my configuration changes didn't seem to affect the Astribank, I power-cycled it. I

convert zaptel to dahdi?
I am trying to get a zaptel install converted to dahdi. I can get dahdi installed, and the pseudo device even shows up; however, dahdi show channels shows me nothing. There is a TE122 and a TDM800 in there, and neither show up. dahdi show status shows both cards, and dahdi tools show that the cards are there, working, and have no alarms. What am I missing? Dahdi 2.4.0 and Squeeze
Hi, I'm using a two-years old installation script for the first time on a Squeeze (linux 2.6.32) platform. For an unknown reason (might be an obvious one), Dahdi can't be loaded anymore. 1. First of all, it seems /dev/dahdi content was previously (ie in Lenny) owned by asterisk:asterisk (asterisk is run as asterisk). Now it is owned by root. Any clue about this ? 2. Secondly, I changed
