I have a question, I had installed kubuntu jaunty in 386 architecture and wine runs games well good (I have an acer aspire one NETBOOK). Recently i have installed the version of kubuntu lpia, everything is fine, but when you install the version of wine for lpia some games that run well on 386 dont run in lpia. My question is that if I report the bug here or in the ppa where does the installer. Thank and have all good day.

I bought a new computer for myself, and installed Kubuntu on it. I installed Steam on it, bought the orange box, tried to run TF2, and it didn't work. Hi, haven't been here for a while, but everyone one was always so helpful I thought I would ask you another really basic question. I'm running R2.9.1 in Ubuntu8.04 on a netbook (maxed out on memory etc so I don't think that's a problem - wth it's a Dell Mini 9" with that lpia non-architecture you told me about). Anyway, some of the graphics functions/parameters are causing unresolved computation. Wasn't sure what to do but I've noticed that closing the graphics device causes the R routine to stop at least. Dear useRs, With the rise of netbooks and 'lifestyle laptops" I am tempted to get one of these to mainly run R on it. Processor power and hard disk space seem to be ok. What I wonder is the handling and feel with respect to R. Has anyone here installed or is running R on one of these, and if so, what is your experience? Would it be more of a nice looking gadget than a feasable platform
