I have a laptop that has no CDROM, so I have to use an ISO. Anyway, I use to be able to mount the ISO at /media/cdrom and wine would recognize it as a cdrom. Now, when I try the same thing it doesn't recognize it as a cdrom. I have added /media/cdrom as a cdrom in winecfg, but still no luck. I do this before the iwconfig commands above, but this does not help. I have also tried following the Chapter 10 instructions more loyally by using ip addr add dev instead of ifconfig to set up the IP addresses, but this did not work. My problem is that I use the same data frame in many different functions that I have written, but it implies a very big waste of time because it slow down the program.
