seems-to-be-inexpensive source of polycom 301 and501
i have ordered 500s from tritechcoa.com several times over the past 4 months. great service and delivery, and the prices are lowish, only problem is, they add a $20 handling fee per phone, on top of phone price, and shipping, making the lower price not as good

*, Fritz!PCI and strange behavior
I'm testing * (CVS-09/16/03-02:07:49 with zaprtc 0.0.1) with Fritz!PCI
(chan_capi 0.3.0), and have a couple of funny things - I wonder if anyone
else has seen them:
- Now and then, * just exits. Until now I had lowish-level verbosity on,
so all I saw was 'Executing last minute cleanups'. What can trigger
* exits? (in other words, what should I pay attention to when
attempting to debug this?)
- Very often, after * runs for a while, it stops recognizing incoming
ISDN calls and refuses to send out...

Can we disable diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha1 by default?
I'm not nearly knowledgeable enough in crypto to fully understand your
answer, but I will try. I wonder why moduli are not automatically
generated the first time sshd is started though. That would make much
more sense than shipping a default moduli file but also asking
everyone to replace it with their own.

One way of handling this, at least if the moduli generation was nicely

Not quite. I suggested using a uri rule not a body one. A score of 5 or
6 should be enough. Be sure to test it: its r...

$HOME/.ssh/config and host/hostname resolution how-to?
Hiya,
What is the easiest way of looking up a hostname to see if it exists,
taking into account the .ssh/config file?
If i have an entry in my file
host host1
hostname server.domain.name
then usual OS calls won't recognise the 'alias' host1. So, i need to
make a call via ssh somehow to check if the name resolves without
actually initiating a full blown 'expensive'

ATM [Cell Tax]
I have read the thread at
http://mailman.ds9a.nl/pipermail/lartc/2006q1/018287.html
and still don''t know how to fix this problem. It appears alot of work
has gone into it but the HOWTO is so out of date it doesn''t even begin
to addresses this method.
So here are my questions
1. what is the current state of these patches? are they in a specific
version? do i have to patch myself?

Get MEMDISK parameters from WinPE 32/64-bit?
Hi.
I'm working on replacing a PXELINUX/MEMDISK loaded DOS based
installation image with a PXELINUX/MEMDISK loaded WinPE ISO image. So
far everything seems to work well (appending "bigraw" to memdisk solved
booting problems on several machines), but I kind of miss the option of
using getargs.com to get/set environment variables from the memdisk
command line.
Is there any way to

Help
Hello there,
I'm trying to figure out if this could be done, and if so, if it could be
done with 1 IceCast2 servers running 1 config file.
I use the DJ program that's called Traktor DJ Studio 2.6. It has a built in
feature that you can stream LIVE! to an IceCast2 server with it. All the
metadata info from the tracks played and played can be seen in IceCast2 and
the media player that

WoW Performance - Degrades over Time
Hi All,
I've posted for some suggestions in the WoW forums, but it's been suggested that I post here as well, as I'm more likely to get someone who has a clue :)
PROBLEM
======
After an extended play time in one area (~ 1 hour), or rapid travel between areas, the performance degrades substantially. It goes from 60+ FPS to about 5FPS and doesn't recover until I restart the game.

TCP window based shaping
Does anyone have any pointers on how other people have implemented tcp
window adjustment to do bandwidth shaping?
Granted the basic idea is to set the window size to be RTT * bandwidth,
but a quick squiz at google turns up mostly papers on how to implement
this at the sender end with a view to some new magic TCP
implementation. I''m really interested in notes on how to implement at

SMF services for Xen
1. Introduction
This case introduces the SMF services used by a Solaris-based domain 0 when
running on Xen, or a Xen-compatible hypervisor. All of these services only
run on domain 0 when booted under Xen virtualisation.

Motherboard for home zfs/solaris file server
Hello,
I am building a home file server and am looking for an ATX mother board
that will be supported well with OpenSolaris (onboard SATA controller,
network, graphics if any, audio, etc). I decided to go for Intel based
boards (socket LGA 775) since it seems like power management is better
supported with Intel processors and power efficiency is an important
factor. After reading several

Patch to allow for the ATM "cell tax"
I have been trying to optimise my ADSL connections for VOIP.
Funny things were happening - for example increasing the ping
packet size by 50% had no effect, but then adding one byte
had a major effect. It took me a while to figure out that I
was seeing the effects of the fixed ATM cell size.
This is probably obvious to some of you. For the rest: ADSL
uses ATM as its transport. An ATM
