with IAX softphone.
Regards.

CentOS 6 gcc is a bit old
gcc (GCC) 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-11) is a bit old.
There have been major changes since then.
I'd like a newer version.
If I have to, I expect that I can install from source.
I'd rather not.
Is there a CentOS 6-compatible repository
from which I can get a newer version?
Does a standard CentOS 7 repository have a newer version?

Take a look at Devtoolset, I think this will give you what you want:

Confused with CallerID when using the iax chanenls
Hi,
I have two * box. One is box1 and the other is box2. And I have two iax
clients A and B. A is registed with box1 and B is registed with box2. If I
make a call from A to B using the following method:
IAX/[<user>[:<secret>]@]<peer>[:<portno>][/<exten>[@<context>][/<options>]]
The CalledID that B got is <user> but not A's CallerID. I

best practice for domain admins
I expect the next "you should know" here.
How do you handle administrative accounts in your samba/windows domains?
I have to provide some accounts for the so-called admin users at the
customer ... in some cases they learned the main admin pwd (yes, bad)
and used it for installing this and that.
Add their own users to group "domain admins"?
I'd like to take away the main

ForkCDR
...llo, CDR fans!
I'm looking at some issues brought forward over time:
12726/10668: someone wants me to revert the changes I made via
bug 10668, last Sept; (that's
they are messing him up. And I didn't do the change
suggested in ForkCDR, for fear of lousing up
folks depending on current behavior. Which probably sparked:
11721 : ForkCDR's not yielding CDR with proper duration/billsec.
Add to that some calls I've gotten recently from "dude" on forkCDR
messing up the answer() times.
My thoughts: Whatever ForkCDR was really...

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] costing optimisations
Hi,
Here's a personal perspective on the issue:
Firstly I don't think TeX does pre-estimation of work, it's just the
standard stepwise "refinement stuff". However, the idea itself isn't
necessarily a bad one.
In the academic community there's a set of people (John Cavazos, Lous-Noel
Pouchet, others I've forgotten) doing work on estimating which sets of

Special Delivery from China
I received a sample IP/Speakerphone from my friends in China today.
Asterisk setup was fairly uncomplicated and I had it running as an
extension on my server within a few minutes. Sounds quality of both the
receiver and the speakerphone are fine (wife's opinion). Are there any
tests I should run with this phone?
Following are the specs:
- Single line appearance
- Alpha display, 2x16 chars

Added RFC2307 --> Unable to convert SID (S-1-1-0)
Hi,
I have now added rfc2307 to my domain - I extended the schema, have
added UIDs to some (not all yet) of my users and groups, and have my
smb.conf with this currently:
idmap_ldb:use rfc2307 = yes
winbind nss info = rfc2307
winbind use default domain = Yes
winbind enum users = Yes
winbind enum groups = Yes
winbind refresh tickets = Yes

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] costing optimisations
Adding LLVMdev, since this is intimately related to the optimization passes.

Please profile this and mail llvmdev regarding passes with
significantly superlinear behavior (e.g. O(n^2)). My understanding is
that these kinds of algorithmic problems are generally considered
