Multiply Iterated Measurements and Pairwise Comparison
...airwise.t.test() with the Holm method for p-value adjustment, however I don't see that pairwise.t.test() has a functionality to accommodate my M measurements arrangement.
Thank you for any suggestions.

Administration
I know this may sound a bit lazy, but I don't really wanna bother with
writing many scripts from the Administration of my SMB-2.2.2 as an NT PDC
Box... (like adding users, deleting users, adding shares and modifying
passwords stuffs, knowing that I do the Unix-SMB password sync)... So does
anyone have good scripts, or some reference pages?? I searched everywhere in
vain for that...

Problems adding print drivers
Hey folks.
I am trying to set up a cups/samba printer server, and I am having trouble using cupsaddsmb.
I isolated the problem to a rpcclient and here is the information I gathered from the various commands.
If I delete all the files in "/var/lib/samba/drivers" cupsaddsmb installs the folders and files, but doesn't move the files in to the WIN40/0 folder with the adddriver

Help me too! Password Authentication Failure
I have a similar problem to Giulio Orsero.
I have failure messages in the log files, but I actually have samba mapping
failures. A PC will map every day for two weeks properly and then not connect.
Fifteen minutes later, it will connect. Any suggestions?

smbcontrol
All,
I want to be able to disconnect a user from a samba share. I'm using
Samba 2.2.8a on Solaris 8. If I'm reading OReilly correctly, I should
be able to use smbcontrol with the SMBD process id of the user who has
the share mounted. Here's an example:

Samba 2.2.8a with Solaris 8 & NIS
All,
The basic info is that I'm running Samba 2.2.8a on a Solaris 8 machine
with NIS. The hostname is altair and is a NIS slave. As a standard
practice every employee get's a NIS account and altair is their samba
home. NIS is set to compatibility mode in /etc/nsswitch.conf. Samba
security is set to server. It appears that for users to map to their
samba share, we need to have an

netlogon scripts
All,
If I want to specify a logon script, does security need to be set to
Domain? The issue is that we have authentication at the PDC/BDC so that
our VPN users can map drives on their home PC's. Is there a different
way to do a logon script other than setting the SECURITY = DOMAIN?
I am running 2.2.8a (planning on 2.2.12) on Solaris 8. Thanks for
your help.

print que not updating
All,
There was a similar thread in August but I'm not sure if this is the
same problem. Basically what's happening is that I'm printing a desktop
file(Word/Excel/IE) to a printer served up on my samba server. The job
prints, the file get deleted on the server but in my system tray, it
seems like the job never gets removed from the que or it's extremely
slow. Sometimes the job

16-bit application
I've got a really weird problem. A user is running a 16-bit
application called Jetform V2.2, originally from Delrina but now
supported by Adobe. The user is storing the data files on their local
disk but the forms sit on a samba share. We have moved the data files
to samba as well and this is where the weirdness comes in. When the
application tries to open a file it brings down a pulldown

Samba 2.2.8a ldap compile problem with pdb_ldap.c
All,
I am trying to compile 2.2.8a with the ldapsam, acl-support & pam.
The make appears to go ok but the compile part doesn't. At the
beginning of the compiles it lists out the flags:
Using FLAGS = -O -I./popt -Iinclude -I./include -I./ubiqx
-I./smbwrapper -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64
-DLOGFILEBASE="/apps/samba/var"

Domain problem with NT4 & Samba 3.0.2a
All,
I really need some help. I'm putting samba up on a new windows domain
called SIERRA. I'm using Samba 3.0.2a on Solaris 8. I'm barely
knowledgeable on Windows NetBIOS... but am good with Solaris. The
status is that I've got the daemons running and working normally. I
have 1 desktop with 1 PDC & 1 BDC in the SIERRA domain. On the desktop,
I can see both DC's but
