Booting a multi-ISO CD on a Mac.
...PC G3 Mac's that we would like to install Linux on. I have downloaded a couple of Debian ISOs and a couple of Gentoo ISOs. All four would easily fit on a single CD. So, my question/problem is, is it possible to configure a menu to chose between them, that will boot up on a Mac PPC? Thanks, Lonnie -- Later, Lonnie Mostly Debian, but now I'm messing around with Gentoo. Humm, I kind of like it too.

glusterd vs. glusterfsd
I'm running version 3.3.0 on Fedora16-x86_64. The official(?) RPMs ship two init scripts, glusterd and glusterfsd. I've googled a bit, and I can't figure out what the purpose is for each of them. I know that I need one of them, but I can't tell which for sure. There's no man page for either, and running them with --help returns the same exact output. Do they have separate

mapping a directory
...y well for the most part. I can easily map a Linux directory to a Windows drive, but I actually have a need to be able to map a linux directory to windows subdirectory. About the only way that I can currently think of that might work would be to use a symbolic link on the Linux subsystem. cheers, Lonnie -- Lonnie Cumberland OutStep Technologies Incorporated EMAIL: Lonnie@OutStep.com : Lonnie_Cumberland@yahoo.com The Basis Express Virtual Office & Data Backup and Recovery Services URL: http://www.basis-express.com "The Virtual Office without boundaries!!!&qu...

...xserver to take care of the windows? Also, if I set "--winver nt2k" then does this mean that Wine will look for the specified directories in my /wine-c directory laid out the way that they actually are specified on a real Windows NT/2000 machine? That would be great if it did. filtering user files
...tion so I hope that I will be able to get a quick response. In our users directories, there are a number of "dot" files and folders and I was wondering if there was a way to tell Samba not to show them when a user is in their directory? Maybe some sort of file filter perhaps. thanks Lonnie

LinkedIn still not working?
To clarify the issue I posted earlier: I am on OS X 10.6.7. Trying to use Mechanize to log in to LinkedIn. As others have posted about in the past, when I submit the form it kicks me back to the LinkedIn landing page, and does not log me in. I read the earlier discussion of the issue that mentioned how cookie values were being improperly dequoted when stored. But I thought that issue was fixed.
