We are currntly running mongrel v 1.1.4 mongrel_cluster 1.0.5 mysql gem 2.7.5 (built from source) rails 2.0.2 ruby 1.8.6 mysql version 4.1 this is run on a remote server. I have a situation where i need to run name based virtual hosts in apache as I only have one IP address, but have a couple of rails sites. I have configured both successfully apart from the ssl side of things. I am configuring assets hosts for our site but am running into problems when navigating to an https page. Basically the server is trying to pull the assests out on https:// rather than http:/ but i do not have https configured on the assets server. I have dug around a bit and found this bit of code which should when a page is https:// serve the assests from the app server and when it is not https
