[PATCH] generator: force longdesc to begin with uppercase
As contrast to shortdesc which is forced to begin with lowercase, this
patch forces longdesc to begin with uppercase.

[PATCH 0/3] generator: Allow returned strings to be annotated as devices.
If we want to permit more than 255 drives to be added, then we will
have to add the disks to the same virtio-scsi target using different
unit (LUN) numbers.
Unfortunately SCSI LUN enumeration in the Linux is not deterministic
(eg. two disks with target=0, lun=[0,1] can be enumerated as /dev/sda
or /dev/sdb randomly). Dealing with that will require some very
complex device name translation on the

[PATCH libnbd 0/2] Avoid lock and error overhead on some calls.
This works. I'm in the middle of testing whether there is any

[PATCH libnbd 1/5] python: Change aio_buffer into nbd.Buffer class.
Create a class for AIO buffers. This is a mostly neutral code
refactoring, but we add a convenient function for getting the size of
the buffer (same as previous commit for OCaml).

[PATCH] generator: Add visibility to action struct
The visibility field in action replaces in_fish, in_docs and internal.
The defined types are:
VPublic:
A public API. This is exported and documented in all language
bindings, and in guestfish.
VStateTest:
A public API which queries the library state machine. It is exported
and documented in all language bindings, but not guestfish.
VBindTest:
An internal API used only for testing

Re: [libnbd PATCH 5/6] api: Add new nbd_aio_FOO_notify functions
Obvious change given the previous patch, so ACK.
I do wonder if we should make the notify parameter mandatory (and
therefore avoid the duplicate functions).
Another trick you might do if feeling really keen is to
programmatically generate the notify variants of commands, something
like this:
let make_notify_variant_of_call ({ args; longdesc } as call) =
let args = List.rev args in

[PATCH libnbd 0/5] WIP: python: Add test for doing asynch copy.
This doesn't yet work. However it does make me more convinced than
ever that we really need to sort out persistent buffer lifetimes in
the library (similar to what we did for closures).

[PATCH] api: Add a special type for the flags argument.
By using a special type we can more naturally express flags in
different programming languages. For example OCaml will prefer an
optional argument containing a list of flags, defaulting to the empty
list:
pread [...] ?(flags = [])

[PATCH 1/2] Rust bindings: Add long description
`cargo doc` will generate docs with long descriptions.
I did not add the settings of outputting these docs to `/website`.
This is because
- by publishing this crate to crates.io, users can see the docs in
`docs.rs` like `https://docs.rs/guestfs/<version>/guestfs/`. It is easy
to hold multiple documents corresponding to each version.
- the style of the documents generated by `cargo doc`

[PATCH 1/2] generator: Simplify the handling of string parameters.
Previously we had lots of types like String, Device, StringList,
DeviceList, etc. where Device was just a String with magical
properties (but only inside the daemon), and DeviceList was just a
list of Device strings.
Replace these with some simple top-level types:
String
StringList
and move the magic into a subtype.
The change is mechanical, for example:

Hey! **The above document had some coding errors, which are explained
below:**

I do not know whether there are such non-ascii characters in API longdescs,
and I have no idea to find
such characters easily. So, I am not able to say whether pod2markdown is
usable or not for now...

[PATCH 00/16] btrfs: add support to btrfs scrub, balance, rescue and inspect
Hi,
This series adds new APIs to support btrfs scrub, balance, rescue
and inspect.
Some of them don't have tests because:
- btrfs_scrub and btrfs_balance completes too early before we can
test btrfs_scrub_cancel, btrfs_scrub_resume, btrfs_scrub_status,
btrfs_balance_pause, btrfs_balance_cancel, btrfs_balance_resume
and btrfs_balance_status.
- can't
