Hi, i did some tests wit samba 4.2 as a ADS DC on arch linux. On a Win8.1 client i can do local logins as every user, i can login via RDP as local user, but i am not able to login as a domain user via RDP. After the loginscreen, appears "Welcome" and the mousepointer continues to spinn.... Same issue on Ubuntu 14.04, samba 4.2 installed from source. On Ubuntu and samba 4.1.17 (installed also from source) all works fine. Is this a bug on the 4.2 version of samba? Regards, heinz ./configure --with-ads --wi...

...; --- Hello! New to ubuntu. I have an old acer 5520g with the exact same problem you are describing in the comments above. I also tought it was a heat problem and found alot of dust in the graphics cards fan. My computer completely locks down and I am unable to even login or open a terminal at the loginscreen after the first glitch. ...rg After playing around with rotation on my NV31 (drivers rebuilt today from latest git) I got and DMA-queue hang. It occured while I was minimizing windows to a panel in gnome. The pixture froze (the mouse still moving) and gdm restarted X. The intresting part here may be that when I reached the loginscreen I had the same problems as before the fix for NV31 with missing fonts. A "sudo /etc/ini.d/xdm restart" was needed for that to fix itself. Starting firefox-3 and starting to typ bugzill.. it hang again (could be due to the massive graphics in firefox-3s history-bar).
