lacing values clarifications
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I thought I would separate this out into a separate mail since it's not comment specific stuff -- There seem to be a couple of inconcistanies in the Ogg spec as regards to lacing values: *) "The raw packet is logicaly divided into [n] 255 byte segments and a last fractional segment of < 255 bytes." However, in the wild, I've found an example where the first lacing value (in this case out of 13) is less than 255 (190 in the example I'm looking at). *) "Note that a lacing value of 255 implie...

Frustrated with RoR environment splintering
...d_perl style of Apache environment, rather then splintering all over the place with lighthttp, mongrel, WEBrick, SCGI, fcgi, etc??? Its frustrating as someone who is trying to migrate to RoR. Its very unlikely I would ever get a contract to work on any webserver except Apache, so it would seem logicaly to focus all our efforts to make Apache the ''production environment of record'' for RoR. Just my $.02...

When the inside functions of a sfq are called ?
I read the sched/qdiscs code from kernel source ... and I have some questions : When the .enqueue, .dequeue, .drop, .requeue functions are called ? What is the event that triggers them and how often this event apears ( per second ? ) ? When a qdisc is dequeued ( when it''s limit is reached ) ? Thanks _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list /

RE: installing automatic routes ?
Unless the bridge keeps stateful inspection data and can reply back to the session''s origin, not it route then its fine. The only way I can see this working is either putting the FTP/.. DMZ behind the firewall giving true firewall protection for all services involved, or if you just want to kludge the current solution, you can perform a DNAT/SNAT interface bounce like the following: #

Log / Dump Rotation Feature Request
...at least a month due to legal issues. Right now i wrote a small script which rotate's the dump.ogg file and renames it. The BASH Script is executed by the on-connect and on-disconnect source event. It would be nice to have an internal rotation feature because so the files could be more "logicaly" seperated. For Example: <dump-file>/foo/bar/radio1-%SOURCEIP-%DATE-%PLAYTIME-% PEAKLISTENERS.ogg</dump-file> U see it, could be quiete usefull in many ways. To comply with the GEMA Laws and to create quiete a well sorted and informational Archieve of all shows. kind regards,...

Namespace delimiter...
As RFC3501 (IMAP) say: 'A NIL hierarchy delimiter means that no hierarchy exists; the name is a "flat" name.' How to change delimiter to NIL? We have flat namespaces in our storage. Now I hardcoded this and everything is working, but maybe it is another possibility... -- Konrad

htb filter
...0 at 12 I read in lartc.org that filter can be attached to any class, not only to root. I make my traffic control acording to that. And everything is fine. I see thah filters are grouped. There is "fh 800::", but where is relation between "parent 2:0" and "fh 800::". Logicaly "parent 2:30" => "fh 801::" and "parent 2:40" => "fh 802::". What I''m missing? Regards, Svetozar
