Timezone of logentries from dovecot
Hi
I've been using dovecot for a long time now, and have nothing but
praise for it. It's considerably faster than uw-imap, and has been very
easy to configure, in spite of my limited knowledge of unix.
One thing still botheres me, though, and that's the time of the entries
in my logfiles. It seems that dovecot logs it's entries in GMT, while
I'm using GMT+1. This is made

Thanks, Timo, that did the trick.
Also thanks to Quentin for his reply, though I don't understand any of
it. As stated, my knowledge of unix is rather limited...

Darkice / Icecast2 - please assist
I am using Darkice 0.17.1 and Icecast2 2.3.1
Darkice cannot talk to icecast, and I have no idee about there reason:
Logentry on icecast server side:

parsing failed
config for Icecast is a standard mount which works with ices.
config for darkice is:

R CMD check: Too long [R] code line generated (PR#1900)
Full_Name: Henrik Bengtsson
Version: 1.5.1
OS: WinMe
Submission from: (NULL) (217.210.0.243)
In the Perl script $R_HOME/bin/check there is a bug under the section "Check R
code for syntax errors" where the 'Rfiles <- c(...)' is build up. If there are
too many files in @Rfiles the source code line generated will be too long and
weird things will happen, e.g. strange

tinc stopped working after restart
Hi.
I'm in desperate need of some good advice.
I have a tinc network with 16 nodes. It's a star topology where all nodes
are connecting to the one node (Node1) that have a static IP.
Node 1 accepts incomming connections
Node 2 through 16 connects to Node1
One of the nodes (Node5) stopped working a while ago (2 - 3 weeks or so),
other than that everything was working fine. Today I

Problem with rules being 'ignored'
Hey there, sorry to bug you,
I've ran into a little problem conscerning a logcheck-rule I just wrote.
I use logcheck and logcheck-database on Debian Etch. When logcheck
reports me something I don't want it to, I normally write a rule to
match that logentry and put it in a file called my_rules in
/etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/ ... that worked perfectly fine. Until
that rule:

WG: Re: extended logging for icecast2
Hi
I want to contribute some changes to icecast2 server;
Some improvements to logging engine of icecast ( daily and monthly
aggregation );
<p>During every logging process I check if the actual logfile is still the
actual one;
if not, I generate a new logfile and write the logentry in the new
logfile;
in case, nothing changed, I write to the old logfile;

getpeername failed. Error was Transport endpoint is not connected
I have a similar error, I can us XP workstation ad domain members, and they
even use the shares, but two or threes times per day the connection resets,
and I have to kill the smbd and start it again (only restart does not work).
Take look at my LOG. Any idea?

but going to lmtp service it dosn't.
Maybe it works with default delimeter "+", but i plan to move from qmail
system with many existent mailboxes.
Enclosed some configuration/logentries.
Can you give me a hint ?
Best Wishes
