Reading Numeric Data -- Trivial Question
...a number
represents the log of the returns of one day.
I have problems in reading this in a vector numeric format.
If I try
retr<- as.numeric(read.table("logDJI.TXT", header=FALSE, sep="", dec="." ));
I get:
