It looks like it does have the ability to use a regex to filter logs. https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/4.0/manual/config/items/itemtypes/log_items This regex ought to do the trick and not filter out other error messages (like login failures) that occur on localhost.? fallocate() is linux specific and will preallocate the space on disk for the entire file. FALLOC_FL_KEEP_SIZE does not change the filesize as reported by stat().
