I'm not seeing my LDAP groups listed when I use Windows file sharing tools to modify ACLs on a share. I see all of the LDAP users. Ubuntu 16.04, hosted LDAP ("in the cloud", although I hate that term, provided by JumpCloud.com), no AD. I'm able to assign LDAP users to ACLs. The groups are of objectClass 'groupsOfNames'. Is this expected behavior?

Hi, I''m now blocked for 2 days on getting the network to work in my domU. Here is the problem : The domU refuses to start when a vif is configured. It''s just staying paused for about 1m40s, then the xm create command line give back with an "Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working.", and the domU is destroyed. For the client: JSSIP and Sipml5. If you are going to be coding something up yourself I like the JSSIP 0.5.x javascript interfaces. If you are simply going to use a pre-canned one then sipml5 works pretty well and remembers your settings in localstorage. I haven't used any closed source versions since the above works really well for us. For the server: If you are using Asterisk 1.8 you'll need to front it with Kamailio and rtpengine (or webrtc2sip but I have had stability issues with that). Well for a long time now my wine menu entry in gnome has been gone. Most threads I read all say to fine the <deleted> tag in .config/menus/applications.menu but mine doesn't have it.
