sshd problem on reboot
...t all public services were online. So I've contacted my provider to get access to the server and I've noticed that ssh was started with my specified port. I've tried to log locally on server and I got connection refused. So I've ridden logs and got: error: bind to port MYPORT in LOCALIP failed: cannot assign requested address. I've restarted sshd and problem "was solved". Now I can't try to replicate this error because I can't reboot the server. My addressing config is: Port PORT AddressFamily inet ListenAddress LOCALIP ListenAddress 127.0.0.1 #ListenAddr...

Asterisk@home .05 release questions on setup.
Hello, Great job on the Asterisk@home project. Looks great this new version is really nicer looking. But I have a few questions. 1) For the new web access http://localIP/maint how and where do I change the password. 2) Since I don't use the Amp section for setup the .conf files I use my own. How do I get the asterisk server running status up. I have it running and works but shows up as not running on the web page. 3) I upgraded my system from the older .04 by...

I was able to compile all drivers, the light on the card becomes green when I plug T1 link.... but I even can't ping default router IP... there is no data coming back to me, so I am confused completely now. Also I tried both protocols - raw hdlc and cisco hdlc. The

Speed problem connecting to samba over Internet
...39 I'm connecting to this from Windows using instructions as per here: http://www.cheswick.com/ches/cheap/tunnelsolution.html , which is basically stunnel running in Windows stunnelling port 139 on a local IP to 2222 on my remote server, so that I can access the share via (in windows speak) \\localIP\test It all works fine, but it takes a loooong time to make connections. Once a connection is established, the speed is fine - a single 12Mb file takes about 90 seconds to transfer from the server.
