nouveau problem
When I attach an external monitor to my new Dell Precision I always get
this and the monitor refuses to recognize video input. If I persist it
reaches a point where the machine will boot but won't bring up a login
prompt. I have to ssh to get in. And worst of all, it persisted after I
remove the external monitor and am forced to re-install CentOS (7.6.1810).

something wrong with mongrel?
Hi all,
I''ve followed http://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/UsingMongrel
for configuring my puppet with mongrel.
Al seems to work fine, except that, after a reinstall of 40 nodes atone
time, I got many kind of errors like:

one mongrel with hundreds of CLOSE_WAIT tcp connections
Hi, I''m running into a strange issue where one mongrel will sometimes
develop hundreds of CLOSE_WAIT TCP connections, mostly to apache (I think --
see sample lsof output below). I haven''t had a chance to get the mongrel
with this behavior into USR1 debug mode yet. I didn''t catch it in time.
This happens a couple times a day on average at seemingly random times.

X-UID in mail header is removed?
Dear Dovecot Mailing List,
I have 2 questions regarding dovecot and would very much appreciate if
you would kindly give me helps.
<Question 1>
Is 'X-UID' no longer shown in mail header via pop3? I have checked with
the following 3 version of dovecot packages in order to make sure if a
message sent by dovecot have 'X-UID' in its mail header, and the result
is that only

LDB integrity problem
Hi,
I've done upgrade from Ubuntu 13.04 (samba 4.0 alpha) -> 13.10 -> 14.04
(samba 4.1.6).
Now it looks I've lost some accounts. samba-tool dbcheck reports
problems but cannot fix them with --fix param:
ERROR: incorrect GUID component for member in object

Bug: Shared Mailbox - Case Sensitivity
Hi,
unfortunately I found a bug in Dovecot's ACL handling for shared
mailboxes. It turns out Dovecot doesn't enforce lower casing the
privileged username to whom the mailbox should be shared to. This
results in a invalid configuration. Users get confused, since they
passed on a valid email address in their ACL setup.

Problem about samba3 on freebsd, with smbldap-tools [solved]
Hi
I have figured out what went wrong.
I have previously complied samba without ldap support.
There are tdb files in /var/db/samba.
I have just uninstall samba and
remove all tdb files (this instruction was given when run make
deinstall in the samba3 ports, but I didn't follow it before).
I did a fresh recompile with ldap support and now the problem is gone.
Thanks
Patrick

Login Console on ttyUSB0
Kernel parameters aside (console=ttyUSB0 console=tty0), I am trying to get
a login console working on a USB-to-serial adapter.
systemctl enable serial-getty at ttyUSB0.service
systemctl start serial-getty at ttyUSB0.service
This works without issue on Debian 8. However when running the same on
CentOS 7, my logs are filled with:
May 16 12:44:58 localhost.localdomain systemd[1]: Starting Serial
