Lobbying database
Hi, Joseph:
What are your priorities regarding the US lobbying database?
At

see 4 links:
* Search the Lobbying Database (LD-1, LD-2)
* Download a Lobbying Documents Database

The game itself runs decent but will not connect to a lobby server. Also, when I attempt to run a local lobby (http://freeallegiance.sourceforge.net/pub/AllLobby_R5rev483.exe) using the cdb command line utility (http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/devtools/debugging/default.mspx) I get the follow log:

"context confusion" internal context 2 context only?
...include => local
include => longdistance
include => international
include => services
exten => 104,1,Dial(Zap/20|20)
exten => 105 106 107......
etc....
[sales]
include => local
include => longdistance
exten => 201,1,Dial(Zap/5|20)
exten => 202 203 204 .....
etc....
[lobby]
include => local
exten => 303,1,Dial(Zap/10|20)
exten => 304 305 .......
etc....
Extentions in lobby should be able to directly
call extentions in either admin or sales.
Using an include in local then gives lobby access to
ld,int.,services, etc.

Page fault and then a hang. Any ideas?
...also seems to support that it's a graphics rendering issue.
The point where the game hangs is during a loading screen immediately after selecting a character to play. On a working Windows machine the loading screen usually takes about 7-8 seconds when afterwards you are presented with a ship/lobby selection menu. The background of that menu is actually the full 3D lobby level which your character will be taken to once a ship and lobby are selected. The loading between that menu and appearing in the lobby is less than a second so I'm pretty sure all of the assets (3D geometry, textures,...

Safe Harbor Games : Backgammon - Almost works with Wine
...es browser to launch and I was successful in getting this to work by loading windows version of Firefox. In fact, with exception of a few critical issues the program works with Wine. I can play a match and most of the controls work except for the following. 1. Cannot post chat message in either lobby or game because after typing message the software requires hitting [enter] and under Wine hitting [enter] has no effect. 2. Should be able to double-click on player name in lobby to send a instant message but double-click does not work. 3. This last is less critical, but fonts do not display cor...

Or, instead of lobbying for llvm to always define dump(), you could lobby
for it to enabled by default.

Tinc for gaming
Hi,
We are trying to set up tinc for playing lan games over the internet.
The three of us are running tinc, can ping each other and browse shared
folders. yes, windows :|
However we cannot connect because we don't show up in the game lobby.
The games usually require udp ports to be open, but I think these are all
open once we establish the tinc tunnel.
Also, testing with all computers in the DMZ did not solve our problem.
Does anyone have ideas as to what more we can try to make this work?
Many thanks in advance,
Arjen

OpenSSL Update - not a security update???

That does sound like it is being ignored, because you know you can't do
it.
As things stand.
(I think you should put all this in an/the FAQ then point people to it,
instead of sending large swaths of the same words yet again, which must
surely be frustrating.)
But the project could lobby Red Hat for access to the file, whether for
just CentOS (RH has done things just for CentOS before) or for the wider
community of rebuilders. I can't know if this has been attempted, but
it has not been mentioned as having been asked.
Can I help lobby for such access? I bet that would onl...

Finding MGE units in North America (was: NUT online compatibility lists)

For Ian: sorry, I've not found anything in Texas. That doesn't mean
there is nothing though.
Anyway, I would advice people to lobby for alternative (ie MGE, NUT,
Linux and *bsd) at their local reseller. The more people asking for,
the more chance there are to find MGE products in the future, and
maybe resellers talking about NUT ;-)
Don't hesitate to contact me back.

How do I do this in Asterisk?
Hi all,
I have created a menu from which the caller can select several options such as being transfered to our phones and my mobile phone, meetme, etc. If the caller press an invalid option i have set it to play a message like invalid choice please try again. If the caller make three invalid choices i want the call to be disconnected. what is the best way of doing that?
And finally i have set up

...'t name the character to finish the process (bug #27293 occurs here).
Under VirtualBox (running XP/Vista/7) the game crashes at the same point.
For those unfamiliar with the game - at the point where the page fault occurs the user should be presented with a menu to select a ship (and then a lobby) to join. (see screenshot below) The menu for those two are 2D geometry but behind the menu (in the background) is a fully 3D ship lobby (which is where the user is taken once the ship and lobby are selected). My current suspicion is that Wine's Direct3D implementation can't handle somethin...

Doing some work in the Hotel, but I'd be interested in meeting some
others in the Lobby for *-talk or something..
