On very different journalling activity on 2 servers.
Hello Folks,
We have 2 (identical hardware) busy public 2U rack servers, both have
several hundred users & peak email (for example) deliveries at 300/5min
during the daytime.
Both servers run RAID1 over 2 EIDE disk drives.
One server is fine - it never has problems - it is running RH7.3 and CPU
loads are normal.
The other server has constant disk activity & kjournald at CPU load of

...Somebody told my I should have a look at my mtu , which I did I turned
down the MTU on all my devices tried several possibileties only ppp
small mtu, small mtu on ppp0 and eth1, small mtu on all devices still no
google.
Then I was told to try a tcpdump, so I did tcpdump -i ppp0 -w file
And I got loadsa output when I surf to redhat, but I get no output when
I surf to google.
I really don''t know where to look anymore, is it the tunneling software?
should I shape the packets, what do I forget?
Please Help.

Samba 4.1 + User Homes
Hi all,
Ive setup Samba 4.1 and have setup Roaming Profiles and User Homes.
[Profiles]
path = /home/Profiles/
read only = no
[Users]
comment = Home Directories
directory_mode: parameter = 0700
path = /home/HOME
read only = No
csc policy = documents
Both are working and are created automaticly, BUT everyone has full access
to all HOMEDIRS.

The trouble is, the kernel usually has a reason for not being in DMA
mode. If it can negotiate DMA, it will; but the older of your two
systems did not do...

Generating keytabs for other hosts
Hi guys
am looking for some guidance on how I can generate some keytab files from a
samba 4 DC
I been following a tutorial that states some bits on the windows side such
as creating an spn
