File access rights on a NFS share: please help !

I've a problem with a program. Printing system does: type test.txt *>>* \\lnxsrv\printer and it return: "the parameter is incorrect" but if i try: type test.txt *> *\\lnxsrv\printer it works but if i try with early samba before 3.0.21 release "open extend >> " works ! with last samba release 3.0.25 not work and it tell me error ! Samba clients fail after reboot

Another strange thing is that once in a while for an unknown reason loggin in to the linux box works again and 10 minutes later it stops without touching the box.
