Tyan Thunder K8SE S2892 lm_sensors Config
...n the sensors command on my S2892 I was getting a readout for an
adt7463 chip that wasn't referenced in the config file. I emailed Raphael Deng at
Tyan asking him to confirm the manual edit needed to get sensors.conf to refer to the
adt7463 chip. His reply was:
> It's ok. You know, lm85 and adt7463 are pretty similar.
> Sometimes, hardware designer or manufactory guys will use them mixed.
So, in Raphael's sensors.conf replace the line 'chip "lm85-i2c-*-2e"' with 'chip
"adt7463-i2c-*-2e"' and all will be well.

2.6.31 xenified kernel - not ready for production
Hi,
I just want to know if somebody use 2.6.31.4 xenified kernel (aka
OpenSUSE) in production?
We have been testing it on new Nehalem Xeon server for few weeks w/o
any problem.
But as soon we tried it on production machine - after several
production domUs started - hard OS failure.
We had to switch back to 2.6.18.8 - xen stock kernel.

Freeze with 2.6.32.19 and xen-4.0.1rc5
Hi,
i have big trouble with a Debian Lenny dom0 and latest kernel 2.6.32.19
with xen-4.0.1rc5. Due some reason the system freezes from time to time.
I used kernel 2.6.31.9 with xen-3.4.2 before. The machine doesn''t write
anything to serial console so there are no errors or something like that.
Perhaps there is something to see from the logs ...
