AutoCAD R14 and Eagle Point
...ut it was still taking about 5
min to load the necessary files.
Are there any settings in Samba that I might be able to tweak? We are
currently using Red Hat 5.2 and Samba 2.0.4.

failed to set socket options

to work would be greatly appreciated.
The network adapter is an NE2000 in a 486DX2-66 with 16MB RAM. We are
having a similar problem with an NE2000 in a PPro system.

very confusing problem, part II

file at http://www.alphaaec.com/samba/smb.conf.txt for your reference.

Eagle Point upgrade causes problems
...average. We
have no other problems besides this Eagle Point application.
I realize much of this probably doesn't have to do w/ Samba, but it doesn't

which NIC to use?
...ons? Is there a driver that people have found success with?
How about adapters? We specifically need one that will work at 100Mbps.
We are using the latest version of Samba -- 2.0.5a.

How will META data be handled
In order to avoid another fiasco like ID3 tags in MP3 elemental audio

on OggSquish as the stream format and it already has an XML stream type, I
think we're pretty much set. Perhaps I can try to implement this with the
MPEG video Ogg multiplexor and player module for OMS.

noisiness measure?
First of all, sorry about my crossposting this, but tarkin-dev I think
is thinly populated, and with all those people experienced in DSP in
vorbis-dev I figured it'd be a good idea.
On with the question: given an image and a pair of coordinates, how can
I calculate some sort of noisiness value? If you create an image with
two squares adjacent to one another, and you fill both of them with the
