Help with list maintance
Hello, Since the list was upgraded I have noticed i am getting 2 copies of each message. I only today had a chance to look into this and wonder if someone can help me figure out what's happening & clean up my list subscription. For every post I am seeing identical posts from 2 different hosts: 1) westfish.xiph.org 2) master.debian.org I am guessing that there is a listserv running on

...ow created two new mailinglists: netfilter@lists.netfilter.org netfilter-devel@lists.netfilter.org Please subscribe to the two new mailinglists in order to participate in discussions on netfilter/iptables and it's development. If there is a backup of the list configuration with the samba.org listmaster, we will later merge the two lists. Again, I feel really sorry about this, but it was nothing where I could have done anything about :( I'll keep you posted. -- Live long and prosper - Harald Welte / laforge@gnumonks.org http://www.gnumonks.org/ =============================...

[sh4] klibc SIGILL
Hi sh4 porters, I?ve just fixed a regression of klibc to build from source on sh4 using the sumotsu.debian.net porterbox (thanks for making one available) and found a problem with your archi- tecture: all binaries built with klibc (shared and static) get a SIGILL (illegal instruction). I suspect that different CFLAGS are needed. Please, someone, have a look at it; a release of klibc 2.0 upstream

[Galen Hancock <galen@veribox.net>] Information leakage in sshd
Hi, Thought I'd just forward this here, because I don't have time to look into it right now, and am off skiing next week. I'd guess that we should be checking for username = ``root'' before going off to do password checks, and rejecting it on that basis first. Cheers, Phil. -- Mind-numbingly stupid UK law alert! Bug#401259: logcheck: logcheck needs to override locale for grep
Package: logcheck Version: 1.2.51 Severity: normal Logcheck has an implicit assumption that the default locale should be used by grep when processing log files. However, that's not always the case. For example, I use the locale "en_US.UTF-8", and consequently grep assumes that its inputs are encoded as UTF-8. But the log files appear to be encoded as ISO 8859-1, which means that
