XEN 4.0.1 + pv_ops Kernel + CentOS 5.5 x86_64, is there an easier way.
Hi As you may''ve seen from my last posts I''m struggling to get the setup on my subject line to work without flaws. I''ve tried compiling the Kernel from Source, I''ve also tried Fedora 14, which has a flaky pv_ops Dom0 kernel which DOESN''T work at all, but none of these seem to work. I''m a mid-time XEN user, I just love it and want to stay

[O-T] rsync security bug on Debian potato

Good idea, but no reply: what to do.
...re, it is automatically mounted (with autofs and cifs and or smbfs) It works very good, and now I've published it on HowtoForge: http://www.howtoforge.com/automatic_discovery_mounting_smb_networkshares I've asked the maintainer of howtoforge Falko Timme he would want to ask the people of LinuxToday to make a link/shortcut to this howto, but sofar the did not publish it. The reason for it is not known to me. I can only gues. Too technical? I'm a bit desparate about it. I know it's a very good construction, which has potential. It lets you browse the networkneighbourhood, which is dete...

Article about Vorbis
Hi all. I thought you might want to know that the interview Monty was so kind to give me appeared on <plug>www.binaryfreedom.orb</plug>, and was later referenced by LinuxToday. This last link was hit more or less 4,300 times - apart from my personal satisfaction I think this is a good indication of Vorbis getting more and more attention each and every day. So, keep up with the good work. When will I be able to interview you guys about tarkin? :) Best regards, Andrea...

SNAT and multiply real addresses ?
...ably I can set ~250 eth1 aliases but this will be overkill. ?!?! Is there any other solution...!?!? I can do also : iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s x.x.x.Z -j SNAT --to-source y.y.y.Z and it works, but then again this is one IP scenario ? I dont have access to y.y.y.1/24 device. ----- http://linuxtoday.com/news_story.php3?ltsn=2004-12-08-004-32-OS-BZ-DT-0005 snip> MS Office is popular in the same way as heart disease is the most popular way to die. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list

Gnumeric - 1 Excel - ?
...such thread (post of mine) is here: http://maths.newcastle.edu.au/~rking/R/help/03a/6326.html While not advocating such use, these discussions have referenced articles that provide independent reviews of these applications and issues of accuracy, etc. Based upon a posting to Linux Today (http://linuxtoday.com/news/2004022600226OSBZGN), I became aware this evening of a new paper by the well known B.D. McCullough, who has published many such reviews of both spreadsheets and other statistical applications.
