Winbind Join AD 2003 failled, why ?

Samba Server requirement
Hi all,
I am using CentOS 4(equivalent to RHEL 4) with Samba
Version 3.0.10-1.4E.I have mount a folder(say "//linuxsrv/projectname" in my
"/mnt/projectname") from my Development server
which is a Debian Sarge box.My requirement is that whenever the Samba server
running on Debian Box is restarted,I have to recognize it and unmount
the "server folder" and then mount it again or shortly I have...

Slow Printing from XP clients with SP2?
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
>From an XP machine printing to a SAMBA printer, printing is painfully slow.
Selecting the printer, and even sending the job through windows makes the app
appear non-responsive. The print job is completed fine, but just takes a long time
to print.
XP boxes with SP1 print like a dream. I've managed to replicate this on 4 boxes

winbind and groups
I've got Samba 2.2.2 and winbind up and running fine
between a TurboLinux server and an NT 4.0 PDC. I can
"chown" files on the linux box fine using "$chown
DOMAIN+username filename" but when i try to change an
objects group using "$chgrp DOMAIN+groupname filename"
i get errors stating that it is an invalid group name.
What's the deal here? None of my group

winbind, getent and wbinfo
...up, instead I downloaded the tarball for 2.2.5
I compiled the server software in the source directory with:
./configure
make
make install
The server is set up as a PDC with an smb.conf file that looks like:
