Hi list, I got a strange problem here, i got 33 machines, all with Windows 2000. The thing is that "some of them connect" others don't, all with the exact same configuration. Same thing happen with users, some connect some don't. I have been looking around for a solution and found nothing. Please HELP!!! -- C?roly E. Arenas

Using Samba on Kubuntu Breezy, and Win98 on a virtual PC (VMPlayer). Hi All, I've been trying to tackle this for some time and so far did not find a way to do this. The problem is simple - as I don't enable printing through Samba I'd like to disable it in such fashion that user would not even see the empty Printers share when he lists the available shares. The smb service is not starting automatically. I can type service smb start at the prompt and it loads, and I can then connect, but its not loading automatically as it used to. Can someone point me in the right direction as what file I need to change to make it load at startup. Thanks! Liz
