Asterisk ML archive down?
Hi,
I've been using the incredibly useful Asterisk ML archive at
asterisk.linkx.net.
The server seems to be down, although the name resolves. Is anyone else
having a problem getting to this archive? The actual URL is:

Is it machine dependent?...

Hi There,
I am also trying to do the same for my network.
I have two links from different ISPs and I want to configure a failover and

I know it works when the first gateway is physically down and not reachable.
But what to do if my link is up but there is problem

CUPS printing from Windows
...t CUPS
was the only
printing system that RH9 installed, I went to the documentation and read
the HOWTO
chapters 18 (Classical printing support) and 19 (CUPS printing support).
I then did the following:
(1) Create the print queues using the RH/Gnome Printing control applet
(2) Test printing from Linkx (ok)
(3) Obtain the Windows drivers from the NT4 PDC (copied the whole
c:\winnt\...\w32x86 structure to a scratch area.
(4) Obtain the detailed descriptions of each installed driver using the
rpcclient utility
from the Samba server, querying the old NT4 server (temporarily
attached) with th...

Needed Open Ports
Hi list,
surely this has been posted before but the archives don't offer a
'search' functionality and I need an answer really soon on this
subject... so, my apologies.
Which ports (range) must be open on a firewall, either TCP and/or UDP,
for Asterisk to work correctly?
TIA,
Martin

Dual Redundant Network routing [Question]
Greetings,
I have a routing problem I am hoping can be solved.
I have three networks. A Private network, and a dual network the private
network connects too. The internal network talks through a
gateway/router(linux redhat 7.2) that has a default route set that allows
the internal network to talk to a computer on the external networks. The
external network is a Redundant network scheme in
