Limit the nuumber of mails POPped at a time
...c mails for clients. I have a piece of software with a mailclient that has problems when it POP's large amounts of mail. Unfortunately the system can't be updated or fixed.So I'm trying to figure out if I can limit the number of mails that can be seen via Dovecot. The procedure would be likeThe client connects. Dovecot limits the number of mails to 300. The client fetches and deletes the POPped mails immediately after retreivel.Next time it POPs it has the next batch. So it would be a question of always presenting a maximum of 300 mails via the POP3.Is it doable? Dovecot is version 2.2....

Newbie User Migration Question
...I guess I could create them on this new machine. From what I read, I would have to add the user to unix, add the user to Samba, and if the machine is Win2k or XP, add the machine to the domain. Then I would move everyone over to this new domain. The old NT PDC has DHCP on it, excluding likethe first 75 ip's for the servers. I would have to set up DHCP the same way on the new server and disable it on the old one. Does this sound logical ??? We have a real, fussy application running on the old server, that I really can not change, nor change the client on the workstations - al...
