Predicting ordinal outcomes using lrm{Design}
...d to predict y for each new observation *individually*.
I know an expression like
predicted1<-predict(fit1, newdata=my.dataframe2, type=""fitted.ind")
can give *probability* of each of the 4 possible responses for each
observation. So my questions are
(1) How do I pick the likeliest y (i.e., likeliest of the 4 possible
ratings) for each given new observation?
(2) Are there good reference that explain the theory behind this type of
prediction to a beginner like me?
Thank you very much,

weakforced
...was using it in high traffic production. Getting things to 'work' versus
getting them to work *and* handle a couple hundred dovecot servers is a
very wide margin. I realize this is not a weakforced mailing list (there
doesn't appear to be one anyway), but the users here are some of the
likeliest candidates for having tried it out.
Mainly I'm curious if weakforced can handle serious concurrency and whether
the cluster really works under load.

Hi!
Weakforced is used by some of our customers in quite large
installations, and performs quite nicely.

Error: could not find function "ad.test"
Hi,
I'm trying to run an anderson-darling test for normality on a given variable
'Y':
ad.test(Y)
I think I need the 'nortest' package, but since it does not appear in any of
the Ubuntu repositories for 2.10.1, I am wondering if it goes by the name of
something else now?
Thanks

Netboot and PXELINUX
Hi all,
I have just been informed that Netboot (http://netboot.sourceforge.net/)
can be used to produce PXE boot ROMs. I wonder if anyone has tried
running this combination with PXELINUX? This is obviously a really big
deal... :)
