3D-plotting a 2D-matrix that contains z-values (3rd dimension)
...alues, which I want to plot over x-y. Either dotted, or if possible as a landscape. I tried around with persp and plot3d (from rgl) and persp3d (from rgl). I sometimes get something that looks good and a while later, when trying some new data I need to worry about that again. Is there something lika a convenience function that can be used to feed the data into persp, rgl::plot3d and rgl::persp3d? At least persp3d is picky about the order of the input data, and I somehow always start again. (plot3d seems to be most mathcing how I think). Isn't that a very common case, where my z_x_y =...

It is GPL) http://robur.slu.se/jensl/jellog.tar.gz Excerpt from headerfile: /* Functions for setting the destination of logger_facilities. - filename is the file to append log entries to. GPO's in OU's not working
I've been noticing that group policies in OU's haven't been working for me. So far I've installed samba 4.1.4 on a fresh install of FreeBSD 10.0 with UFS + acls turned on with the only shares being sysvol, and netlogon. I can get Windows 7 machines to take policies that are in the root of my domain. If I create an OU move a computer or user to that OU and move the policy to that

performance suggestion: sparse files
So I was transferring a 2GB virtual machine disk image image over a slow wireless link. Of course I used --sparse, to keep the image small on the destination end as well as on the source end. Much to my surprise, I noticed that the transfer took a long time even when it got past the first 0.5GB of actually-populated file. A little sleuthing with strace revealed that the source rsync was dutifully
