mbr.bin and parted is one method. Then syslinux is run and a syslinux.cfg is
needed. Is this sufficent for syslinux?

xen2.0.3 and aic79xx
Has anyone expirienced problems with the aic79xx controller and xen
2.0.3 (liinux-2.6.10)?
I have got FC3 running and compiled xen-2.0.3 from the sources. The
compile ssems to work fine but after rebooting the xen0 domain the
server stops during boot at the aic79xx message - no harddisks are

FYI: Simple Small Asterisk install..
Hi,
If anyone is looking for a small Asterisk installation I have managed to
get it down to 296MB (If you remove the kernel source code.. could
probably be made smaller if some of the devel packages and asterisk
source is removed as well.)
To do it I used Trustix Secure Linux 2.0 (http://www.trustix.net), did a
minimum install with ssh support(92MB) and then added the required
packages

re:Cisco cfgfmt.exe tool
...ol needed to be put in the folder that sipX expects it to be in, which is not the c: drive of wine.
I have install wine from source code this time but had installed it via a RPM. The RPM version worked but later stopped. This lead me to install the source code.
Having a Windows file system on liinux is new to be.
Is there a way to create a symbolic link from the sipXecs's folder to point to the cfgfmt tool in the c: wine folder? I'm on a linux Centos5 box.

Possible to make samba ignore file permissions?
I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Is there a way to setup samba to pretty much ignore file permissions, but
allow the write list of users to modify files in shares?
The problem I have, is users need permission through samba to modify web
pages, but they need to NOT have permission when they FTP in or through shell.
