Mailing list archives searchable ?
...lity on this. My questions; 1) Is this already done somewhere else ? 2) Is this of interest ? I'm developing myself now, mainly because I couldn't find a component in PHP or Perl that performs this trick. Does anybody know one, if not I'll continue on my own components. Thanks, Arnold Ligtvoet.

Cisco Gear
Hi, I know it's not really the place, but if anybody in the UK (or US) is interested, I'm clearing out lots of new Cisco stock... 7970G's (colour LCD), 7960G's, 7940G's, 7920G's (wireless IP phone), 7935's (conference phone) and 3550-24-PWR switches. Updated Asterisk-NL
I have updated the voice prompts (mostly small fixes, but still work left to be done - however, it's usable now, I'd say) and the patch file (to current CVS) for Asterisk-in-Dutch. As far as I can tell, all of the grammar work is now in - if anyone has feedback to share, please do so before I spend lots of time cleaning up the patches so they can be integrated back.

"Unable to find path from G729A to ULAW" on Sipphone.com
I seem to be having a problem with transcoding and/or agreeing on a valid codec. I am running a new image pulled from CVS at 1:30 PM CST. The issue occurs when I try to make a call to a toll-free number over sipphone.com. Here's what I see in the console: NOTICE[1259545280]: File channel.c, Line 1478 (ast_set_read_format): Unable to find a path from G729A to ULAW NOTICE[1259545280]: File

Asterisk behind NAT << How to do it.
Thanks to ww and his patch on bug #104, I have successfully implemented Asterisk behind NAT without using STUN or anything crazy. It's quite straight forward. Until this gets tested enough and put into CVS, you will have to patch your chan_sip.c file to do this. I'm sure within the next few days this will get put merged into CVS if no one finds any problems. I tried this on chan_sip.c
