pickup/maildrop being used to spam through my machine.
Looks to me your server is hacked through the webserver of website. Stop apache, flush the postfix queue, are there new mails entering you postfix queue? If not, hunt down the leak, if it does, its not apache2 ;-/ Greetz, Louis > -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- > Van: HomerWSmith at lightlink.com > [mailto:owner-postfix-users at postfix.org] Namens Homer Wilson Smith > Verzonden: dinsdag 13 juni 2017 10:29 > Aan: postfix-users at postfix.org > Onderwerp: pickup/maildrop being used to spam through my machine. > > > Running postfix 2.3.3 CentOS 5.x > >...

Problem with checkinstall
I installed checkinstall 1.6.2 on CentOS 5.4 VM (VMWare Server on WinXP). After getting the dependencies installed it compiled with no errors. But when I run it in its own source directory, I keep getting an error that I can't track down. The message is: install: cannot change ownership of '/usr/local/lib/installwatch.so': No such file or directory. But not only does the file

WARNING: Break-in attempts
Greetings all, I''m forwarding a copy of an email I sent reporting attempted break-ins on my main server, earth.terran.org. I am forwarding this because I think it is relevant that folks watch for this kind of activity in their logs to catch people who "try doorknobs" in the middle of the night. After sending this email, I sent a talk request to the user, who was still logged

Removable drive configuration
I have a box running CentOS 5.3 with two Dataport removable drive bays installed on the second IDE interface (/dev/hdc and hdd). I want to configure it so I can plug in and mount various drives at different times, including different size drives. So far it will only recognize the first drive I plug in, and only if I boot the box after inserting the drive. Is there any way to set it up so I

An error message I don't recognize
I have recently been told I will have to maintain some CentOS servers at work. Since I have only been using Slackware for the last 16 years, I decided to install CentOS on one of my servers at home to get an idea of the differences. I installed CentOS 5.4 from CD with no problems, did a yum update, set up a couple of samba shares and started to copy over some files from one of my other
