Problems with seen flag on OS X mail
...that doesn't do it. The mail is stored in Maildir format in the users home directory. All the connections Apple Mail are done via IMAP. I'm currently running rc27 on Centos and this has been ongoing since I switched from cyrus about 3 months ago. Any suggestions? nicolas cianca LIGHTBULB ncianca at lightbulb.com

Creating a Voicemail ...
I want to be able to take an existing pre-recorded audio file, and dump it into an extensions voicemail box. My application is that someone/thing has dialled an extension which has triggered an event - lets say it's turned a lightbulb on via a System call in the dialplan, and I then want to send the owner a voicemail message (pre-recorded) which says "Lightbulb is ON". Now, I can do this by simply moving the file into the correct voicemail INBOX spool area, with the correct sequence number and a .txt file to go wi...

Banging my head on wall (hosts)
...of the class does this: host { "${fqdn}": ip => $ipaddress, alias => $hostname, } Seems simple enough eh? The issue comes up with those few exception. In particular on the mgmt01 box. It blows up because it I end up redefining the host, which is a nono. So - lightbulb goes off in head. I''ll add a case to the class that checks if the fqdn is one of the ones I manually insert, and if so I''ll skip it. Now to me, this is a bad solution because it puts node specific logic inside a class - I think that from a architecture/reusable component/large...

filtering "tags" via checkboxes - HABTM
First post/newbie post... bear with me. What I''m trying to achive (music site): A system containing tracks and moods with a HABTM relationship. I''ve got all that set up and functioning in the admin environment - i.e. admins can apply a variety of moods to a particular track via a series of checkboxes. Join table works just fine. I''m currently stuck on allowing

What are some effective power status solutions?
...be the cheapest UPS unit that NUT, or other apps can poll to check good vs no power status? I was looking at the PowerWare 3105, though it's a beta driver. For $40, it seems like it would be a good starting point. If the solution becomes too expensive, Ill just end up putting a longlife lightbulb on building power and pointing a webcam at it. Anyone have any sample output of this or other UPS unit? Or any other ideas for this sort of monitoring? UPS driver unknown
Hi All. I was wondering of someone on the list could guide me to the correct driver for the following UPS: Fuden Electronics PCSTAR PT1000. http://www.fuden.com.tw/uninterruptible_power_supply_ups_off-Line_pcstar-1.h tm I have found that with the genericups upstype=7 driver I can see the ups.status going from "OL" to "OB" when I unplug the UPS. Any ideas? Thanks for

SOLVED Re: kernel update to 3.12.5-1, now: upsd[617]: getaddrinfo: Servname not supported for ai_socktype
Now hold on there... you said the problem started when you updated kernels - not when you changed the config file - did you change the config file or was it wrong before and the old kernel accepted it anyway? ted On 12/17/2013 10:08 AM, David C. Some question about megatec vs. powercom
Hi folks! We have a Powercom Vanguard 6000 running here. It seems to be supported by the megatec driver within nut. So I get everything out of it exept the battery status. When I run Nut, it says: Megatec protocol UPS detected [UPS Model 6K Ver Y1.3]. This UPS has an unsupported combination of battery voltage/number of batteries. The "battery.charge" value will be bogus. So I would

...desktop item which is a link to a URL with a port number, opening the desktop item fails. I can create the desktop item by dragging and dropping the URL from my web browser, firefox. The desktop item, when I attempt to open it, brings up a message box with the title "Cancel Open?", a lightbulb icon, a message "Opening 'myURL:myPort'. You can stop this operation by clicking cancel.", and a single Cancel button. When I hang-up the system, then the screem is black. But the power light is brightness. and the disk light is bright sometimes. When I press any key, the screem is still black. Only can do is to press down power button for several seconds to power off the notebook. Is there the bug of the Centos? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... more on 2.0.3-pre
...ges to apc-hid.c of the current development tree. Running newhipups and inspecting the -DDDD output seems to indicate that with the fix below everything seems to work as expected. However, I have not yet shut my system in order to take the UPS out of action so that I can do my various tests with a lightbulb load. I still hope to do this before the end of this week. In the initial tests I found that a trick that I was using with the 2.0.2 sources no longer works. I have therefore made a change for the second item in my previous message: >2) the rather lengthy, unsolicited status messages from my...
