icq2000b ... installs but doesn't run ...
Okay, am trying to get ICQ2000b installed under Wine for my GF ... I use LICQ myself, she doesn't like it as much as her Windows version, says it offers more then licq ... ICQ-2000a on WINE ?
hi, has anyone ever tried (hopefully with success ;-) to run icq2000a on wine ? (copied over or installation on wine wouldn't make any difference. i'd like to have this, 'cause i decided to kill my last windows-box. the only app i used there was ICQ. but i don't want to loose all my contacts and history-files. so i'm not going to use any linux-icq-clone (unless i find

Newbie...WINE setup?
...ws user but linux is new to me. Here is the error message I got when trying to install WINE. Dependency Problem: libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2) is needed by wine-cvs-unstripped-040501-1 Help! I think I may be missing a file or something. But I don't know. I got an error like this when trying to install LICQ too, but alot mor files were listed. Thanks for your help!

...or. I just use samba/winbind to provide ntlm autentication to squid using w2k users/groups database. For your reference i attached smb.conf and lmhosts files. Shorewall issues with GAIM
I am running Mandrake Linux 9.2 with Shorewall 1.4, and GAIM direct connect does not work, and it did before on my hardware router. Upon connection attempts, the program reports that the connection was attempted at 0.0.0.0:5190 for any user, and then promptly fails. The syslog does report that the packets were blocked. These are my stanzas in the rules file for shorewall configuration: DNAT
