Hi. libwnck broke API with the 2.19.3 release. This effects compiz as the WNCK_WINDOW_MODAL_DIALOG is no longer supported by it. The attached patch allows compiz to build against the library. I just did a git checkout of compiz from freedesktop.org git server. I noticed that when I right click on the window manager, 'On Top' is grayed out. Is that a known bug? Is there a patch for fix it? Hi, I'm getting a lot of warnings like this one: (gtk-window-decorator:8442): Wnck-WARNING **: Unhandled action type (nil) Does anyone else see these warnings or know what causes these? ...Shocked If I then swap to the first viewport (1) again to see the horizontally maximized window and then toggle the horizontally maximized state, the window moves back to some other viewport (I have not examined if there is a pattern to this). I am using gentoo and a slightly patched version of libwnck 2.16.2 (from the xeffects overlay) and have not tried with any other version of libwmnck as I was not sure libwnck was to blame. Anyways, the surprising behavior of the escaping window only occurs when the horizontally maximized window is on viewport 4 and I try to switch to it from viewport 1....

I just read about gdevilspie on this list the other day and downloaded it for my mate desktop. Although it installed, it complains that python-wnck is not installed. Does anyone know if it is supposed to work on mate? I would have expected it to install python-wnck as a requirement if not already installed?

On my desktop it gets a different error: pyGTK is not correctly installed, exiting. Fixed by installing pygtk2-libglade. If i remove Move action mask with winrules plugin, I can't raise a window by clicking on it. event_filter_func() receive an KeymapNotify instead of ButtonPress/ButtonRelease event. gtk-window-decorator bug? libwnck bug? gdk bug? No idea for now :( Cedric

I'm using compiz 0.3.4 on aiglx with the latest nvidia driver 1-0-9631. sometimes when I right click on the window decoration in some programs like totem, gedit and gimp, gtk-window-deocrator crashes ( compiz is still running but gtk-window-decorator crashes ).
