diificulty installing or building libvert
I am unable to install or build libvert for RHEL4-64. Due to the errors below. Is it because all the source/rpms are for Fedora? I don't see any redhat versions on the sources page. Thanks in advance for any help.
When running make against the untarred /libvirt-0.9.4.tar.gz configure succeeds but make fails.

Libvert live migration problem!
Hi all,
I've succeed to do live migration between two PCs. However, I found I
could not connect the VM by host IP from a remote PC before migration and
can only connect it from host PC. If I appended the VM with the following
line at the end of the xml file:
<listen type='address' address=host_IP port='PORT'>
I can connect the VM via VNCVIEWER with host_IP:PORT.

free memory on hypervisor
i am trying to get the free memory on a hypervisor using libvert, with the python api bindings
as per?http://libvirt.org/python.html, it should be pretty easy, however the below is failing:
#conn is a connection object
freemem=libvirt.virNode.getFreeMemory(conn)
although this works fine:
software=libvirt.virConnect.getType(conn)
if software == ?'QEMU'...

Network broke for a while when libvirtd start
...https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/libvirt-users
is the official mailing list for the libvirt daemon, maybe you can ask
in there and get better support.
> Does anyone know the reason?
This mailing list is for the general usage of the CentOS system, I am
afraid that not many experts about libvert could be found here.
If you ask in the most appropriate mailing list, you may get the
quickest and the most helpful assistance.

If I run “iscsiadm --mode session” in the console, I indeed get and
error:
iscsiadm: No active sessions.
Do I need to create a session or setup libvert to do that before
iSCSI is supposed to work?
The log shows that libvirt is able to connect to the target:
iscsid: Connection85:0 to [target: iqn.2013-11.freenas:vmpool, portal: 10.0.10.23,3260] through [iface: libvirt-iface-04d9ea67] is operational now

Connect libvirt to iSCSI target
Hi!
I'm new to libvirt and face problems connecting to an iSCSI target.
What I intend to do is to connect libvirt (I tried virt-manager and
virsh) to an iSCSI target and then boot from the LUNs which contain
the VMs.
I followed the documentation¹ but got stuck at section 12.1.5.4.3.
