[ANNOUNCE] syslinux for win2k/winxp
...m can be compiled using mingw or in cygwin using the option
-mno-cygwin (NOTE nasm on cygwin does not seem to generate a correct
ldlinux.bin so this should be done on Linux). The program also compiles
nicely using a Linux/mingw cross compiler.
I had to include most of syslxmod.c into my port since libsyslinux.a did
not compile due to all the header-files syslxmod.c includes (and not
seems
to need).
Comments are welcome.
Enjoy

SYSLINUX 2.04 released
...installing compressed disks which generally would cause
1 MB of memory to be wasted.
* MEMDISK: Fix installing the E820 memory map. Calling
INT 15h AX=0E820h with MEMDISK 2.03 loaded would give a
completely corrupt memory map.
* SYSLINUX: Make libsyslinux a dynamic library, so that it can
be updated separately from client programs. The whole idea,
after all, is to enable alternate programs to become
syslinux installers.
* Include an rpm spec file in the distribution, so rpmbuild
-ta works.
