Automounting Windows XP share on Linux

ls /smb/<name of system>
works for the two Win98 machines on my network (the machines get
automatically mounted and the directory contains "C"). When I try the same
command on the Windows XP machine, I get
No such file or directory
The auto.smb file that came with my OS (Libranet 3) uses smbclient to get a
list of resources on the target. With the Win98 machine, the output of
smbclient -gNL Win98machine
is
Disk|C|C on Win98machine
IPC|IPC$|Remote Inter Process Communication
But, smbclient -gNL WindowsXPmachine produces
IPC|IPC$|Remote IPC
Disk|print$|Printer Driver...

A little help w/ Debian Samba and XP clients
Hi list. I'm a Marine based near San Diego CA and I'm trying to setup
a Libranet/Debian box as a file and printserver. The main goal is
printing right now. I have good connectivity (ping and resolve by
NETBIOS name). I have enabled File and Print Sharing on my Windows
clients as well as making the appropriate entries in my hosts file.

Problems managing remote SAMBA printers from Windows
Hi All,
Hope someone can help. Have tried diligently all the "self-help"
avenues I can find, as well as asking for help on the user forums for my
distro.
Here's the situation.
Running SAMBA server on a libranet Linux 2.8.1 box (Debian based
distro). Have SAMBA 2.2.3a-12.3 for Debian installed and running.
Can create shares for file systems and printers that are accessible from
Win XP and Win NT clients. Have been able to read/write files, and
