While not in the email these are listed in the CHANGES and UPGRADE.txt
file. Going forward we'll try to ensure we include such things in the
release notes as well.

MySQL Voicemail Storage Questions\Errors
I am running CentOS 5 with Asterisk 1.4.14. I am trying to setup storage of voicemail messages into MySQL. It is my understanding that I can only do this via ODBC. I installed per http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/CentOS+5+and+Asterisk+1.4.x+installation unixODBC unixODBC-devel libtool-ltdl libtool-ltdl-devel and mysql-connector-odbc. I reconfigured and built Asterisk, using menuconfig to

Problem with odbc connector with cdr
Hello,
I'm stuck with getting cdr records stored in MySql database. I have a
working realtime environment and have verified that the db connection works
fine when used via res_config_mysql.conf. I'd appreciate Your help on how
to get the odbc connector working as I think there's something wrong with
its configuration.
The problem presented itself as an error when making a call that

rodbc or unixodbc error
Hi,
I'm trying to establish a connection to a MySQL database, and am using the
rodbc package for it. This is in a GNU/Debian Linux box, with the
corresponding Debian unstable packages. I can login to my MySQL databases
from any shell and directory, so the problem is probably not there. Here's
an example of what I'm doing:

Problem with odbc connector with cdr
I notice you have MySQL-asterisk as your definition in your odbc.ini but
you are trying to connect to simply 'MySQL' with your 'isql' command.
Does isql work with 'MySQL-asterisk' as the DSN instead of simply 'MySQL' ?
I have machines that use /etc/odbc.ini and machines that use
/usr/local/etc/odbc.ini depending on if I used a package to instal ODBC or
if I

FW: Problems connecting with MySQL using odbcDriverConnect (RODBC package) on Linux
I think I figured this out. I should not have put the Driver name in
braces. Changing it from {MySQL} to MySQL seems to work.

Realtime config
Having problems getting realtime working, I'm trying to use odbc for all
of this. I've got Fedora 3 and have been fighting with odbc for a day
now. I think I got it working correctly, however I can't seem to get the
realtime portion working. In asterisk 'odbc show' shows it connected, I
see it on my (odbc) mysql server connected and all, it connects and just
idles. So, without

Asterisk Voicemail with ODBC Realtime Access
Hi
I was trying to have realtime voicemail working with ODBC Driver.
Everything works fine with MySQL Realtime access, BUT as I want to implement
ODBC Storage as well, it seems that everything should go through ODBC ( what
I read on voip-info wiki page )
But I do not manage to make it work with ODBC.
Outside Asterisk, ODBC works fine, I can access my databases & tables !
Asterisk fails to

I am sure I'm doing something wrong here but not sure what.
Our system administrator recently installed UnixODBC and the MyODBC

I have an .odbc.ini file in my home directory with following lines:

Reading Voicemail Config from MySQL
Hi all,
I have been trying to get my asterisk (v1.2.10) to lookup voicemail
config data from my mysql database as opposed to voicemail.conf +
sip.conf for my users. Users register with SER and get passed through
to asterisk when they dial out. I followed the instructions as per
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+voicemail+database
so basically I have

cdr_mysql does not write to mysql db
Hi,
I configured cdr_mysql (addons 1.0.9) to write the cdr records to the mysql db.
The problem is that no records are written to the db. Why?
I can import the csv-file to the db. so i assume the db is setup correct.
Is there any chance to get debug from cdr_mysql to find his problem?
This is my cdr_mysql.conf file:

dbname=cdr
password=passw0rd
