I'm trying to recompile the source RPM from the FC3 version of cvs (http://ayo.freshrpms.net/fedora/linux/3/i386/SRPMS.updates/cvs-1.11.17-4.src.rpm), as the version shipped on RHEL/CentOS/etc has a known bug (version 1.11.2-unix "cvs watch on" doesn't work). Hi all, I see that the premade binaries for Samba on Solaris, even recent versions, have ADS support not compiled in. I see more ad domains than nt4 domains these days, so I am going to compile it myself with ads on. I want to ask the experienced if there are any gotchas with ads Samba on Solaris, or something about Solaris that makes ads Samba support difficult. Thanks Jason

I am looking at setting up ADS authentication for my current samba configuration. I am quite wary of making big changes that I do not understand as there are shares currently setup and I do not want to lose this.
