compilation of asterisk 1.4.19 with ilbc already on system
I already have ilbc installed on my system. The files
are:
/usr/include/ilbc/iLBC_decode.h
/usr/include/ilbc/iLBC_define.h
/usr/include/ilbc/iLBC_encode.h
/usr/lib/libilbc.a
/usr/lib/libilbc.la
/usr/lib/libilbc.so -> libilbc.so.0.0.0
/usr/lib/libilbc.so.0 -> libilbc.so.0.0.0
/usr/lib/libilbc.so.0.0.0
However, if I do a "make" in asterisk-1.4.19, it will
not detect that libilbc.a is already on the system. If
I manually remove "codec_ilbc" fr...

Asterisk: 1.6.2.8-rc1 built from source-tarball
Just today I installed libjingle 0.4.0, the latest I could find from
code.google.com, as well as iksemel from source-tarball.
Just to be on the safe site I tried building libilbc from source, but found
no suitable source for that. So I just used the
contrib/scripts/get_ilbc_something.sh from asterisk.
I also checked my soundcard and microphone, they work perfectly.
As stated inan earlier mail: Voicemail can be left, with perfect
sound-quality, yet too short. This m...

What is bootstrap.sh for ? Possible bug in 11.3.0 ?
...CANCEL_FAX_MODE" compiles using
dahdi/user.h... no
checking for getifaddrs() support... yes
checking for timerfd support... yes
checking for gsm_create in -lgsm... no
./configure: line 17928: syntax error near unexpected token `ILBC,'
./configure: line 17928: ` PKG_CHECK_MODULES(ILBC, libilbc,'
My questions are:
1. What is the purpose of bootstrap.sh ?
2. Is this a bug or a feature ?
Regards
