Failing to install {rggobi} on win-7 R 2.12.0

When answering "no" to the installation of GTK, I get the following
error in a popping window:
"the procedure entry point g_malloc_n could not be located in the
dynamic link library libglic-2.0-0.dll"
I then get the following errors in the R console:
"Loading required package: rggobi
