R on SuSe 9.2 AMD 64 bit: Solved
Hi everybody,
I just downloaded the file R-2.0.1.tar.gz and followed
the instruction written in doc/R-admin.html.
In particular we installed for SuSe 9.2 AMD64 the following
packages: gcc, gcc++, gcc-g77, Perl, te-latex, te-pdf, libpng,
libbz, PCRE, Tcl/Tk, BLAS, LAPACK.
After we just made:
./configure
make
make check
make install (from root)
make install-info
make install-pdf
Now everything seems to work properly: no problem at all!
Many thanks to all of you who helped.
Ciao!
