Upgrading from Debian Stretch to Buster, Van Belle package
Ah, ok,
apt-get remove libldb1 ldb-tools
Then try again : apt install samba winbind acl
The replacement of libldb1 to libldb2 is missing something.
I'll have a look at that.
Greetz,
Louis

is this an appropiate use of icecast/libboost?
Hi guys,
I'm writing an application that will sniff audio streams going across
the network and allow a seperate client application to listen into one
of these streams. I was looking into ways to distribute the captured
stream media to a client for listening, and icecast came to mind.
Icecast, as I understand it, is usually used for streaming a few data
sources to MANY clients. As I want

[PATCH: ovirt-identify-node replacement 0/1] Node Image Patch
...ry) to the node image.
Matahari is a qmf agent that publishes hardware information to an amqp
broker, replacing functionality from ovirt-identify-node. However, since
the capability is not ovirt specific, the agent is maintained as a separate
project (see link above).
Dependencies added include:
-libboost_regex library
-libicu
Arjun Roy (1):
Added matahari package to node image, replacing ovirt-identify-node.

I?ve never had to use any of the Boost *libraries* proper. A huge subset of Boost is implemented as C++ templates, which compile into the executable.
If I *did* have to distribute libboost*.so, I?d just ship them in the same RPM that contains the binaries that reference those libraries.
This is no different than what you often see on Windows or Mac: third-party DLLs in c:\Program Files that were installed alongside the .exe, or third-party .dylib files buried in foo.app/Contents/Fra...

Refactor ovirt-node-image code base for inclusion in Fedora
Main reason for refactor is no ovirt-node-image binary image allowed in fedora.
Removed ks files, now in ovirt-node-recipe, which is subpackage of ovirt-node.
Removed tools, these are now in ovirt-node-recipe which is subpackage of

Refactor ovirt-node code base for inclusion in Fedora
Main reason for refactor is no ovirt-node-image binary image allowed in fedora.
Moves tools and kickstart files form ovirt-node-image to subpackage ovirt-node-recipe.
Removes old sub packages form ovirt-node, stateless, logos, selinux.
Modifies init scripts to meet Fedora packaging guidelines: added status, reload, and lockfile, rhbz: 514221
Added License file.

Poor performance with AFR
...talk over dedicated GBit Ethernet with jumboframes. Judging from the howtos,
server side AFR is much more problematic concerning (redundant) availibility of the
service, but I first *have* to get performance somewhere near the NFS levels before
there is any sense in continuing.
(2) what about this libboost thing? Since the documentation makes it sound
highly experimental, I didn't even try.
(3) I admit that the plethora of performance xlators has me utterly confused;
as mentioned, my ad hoc experiments didn't help at all. So, any hints
would be very much appreciated.
I should maybe add that...
