can have difficulty sending to some devices depending on which side (leg) of
the power circuit you are on. (There are bridges to fix this problem too).
X10 themselves also make some of the ugliest wall switches I have every
seen. Leviton make x10 switches that are _really_ attractive (spouse
friendly in your decor). They also work _much_ better with more consistent
(virtually perfect) control. A much more professional system but be prepared

voice, and data. D4, SF, and ESF line formats are supported with AMI
or B8ZS coding. It has dual T1 jacks, one ethernet jack, one serial
port, one V.35 port, and 24 analog pairs available via 50-pin Amphenol

My linux box speaks pppoe to external DSL modem.
Nortel NTEX35 BAAB. It's up 24/7 and provides
web service...etc.
Has 6 nics, one of them is fiber.
Asterisk is on the same box.
Don't have any IP phones yet.
The asterisk default is to listen on all 6
enet interfaces? (this is what I'd want).
Etherape is showing me a healthy dose of
