What can I do to UNDERSTAND why I can't reach centos.org (but everyone else can)?
...d other tests show it to be alive (e.g., http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/centos.org or http://traceroute.monitis.com). But, for me, I just can't reach it by any means. Mike Easter kindly determined "centos.org does not echo ICMP or UDP pings, only TCP, and its associated netblock level3 doesn't echo UDP, but does echo ICMP and TCP." But, for me, this is what a traceroute returned just now on Centos: $ traceroute www.centos.org ... early hops removed ... 16 ae-6-6.ebr2.LosAngeles1.Level3.net (4.69.148.201) 211.850 ms ae-3-3.ebr3.Dallas1.Level3.net (4.69.132.78) 205...

Get contour of a map
Hello everybody, I search a function which returns the contour of map with levels like contourLines, but I would like this function return the border of the map too, because the function contourLines cannot consider the corner of the map and it is not adapted to fill polygon after that. Thanks in advance Pierre Bruyer

Level3 reseller needed
I'm in the Northeast US and looking for any recommendations on Level3 resellers. I don't do enough volume to go to Level3 directly. If there's anybody you'd definitely avoid I'd love to hear about that too. Thanks, Adam

multiline string continuation
...command line continuation in the non-string situation (just continute at the new line). However, that doesn't work for strings because the new line character, "\n", is included in the resultant string. For example, if I type the following in a script: datadir=" X:/level1/level2 /level3/level4/ level5/level6" after executing the script, string variable "datadir" becomes "X:/level1/level2\n/level3/level4/\nlevel5/level6" Someone has suggested to use "paste()" for putting pieces of strings together, but I would like to see if there is any other...

[LLVMdev] Closures, newbie question
...lues must pass in the stack frame in the call. And of course it all has to be recursive, because you may need to pass said stack frame through another function. e.g.: function level1() /* exports i, imports nothing */ { var i = 0; function level2() /* exports i, imports i */ { function level3() /* exports i & j, imports i */ { var j = 0; function level4() /* exports nothing, imports i & j */ { return i + j; } level4(); } level3(); } level2(); } There are numerous ways to pass the stack frames into the inner functions. The...

[LLVMdev] Closures, newbie question
So I read the Kaleidoscope tutorial, big thanks to Chris Latter. Good pace, still excellent coverage. Just at the end it mentions closures and I was wondering how those are done in llvm. The link was to wikipedia, and i do know what closures/blocks/continuations are, (i think) but maybe someone could point me to where to read about how to do them in llvm. Thanks Torsten

Interop RTP "Extension headers" for QOS?
We're setting up a connection with Level3's voip system and when we use Asterisk or make or recv calls we get an initial pulsing noise. Level3's Interop team explains that's their RTP extension headers and Asterisk apparently doesn't know what to do with it. He said we need to either ignore or of course let the traffic pass...

It doesn't matter what channel you call from (IAX, SIP, or Zap). We have a Sangoma A108D with hardware echo cancellation with 2 PRIs to Level3 and 2 PRIs to a Nortel Option 61c and then several IAX trunks running into this box as well. Box is HP DL 385 G2. I've ruled out bad cables, bad port on sangoma and bad port at Level3 rack. When under load and while the problem is occurring zttest is never less than 99.987793 and is usually...
